Vara's Raw Wild Forest Honey is unprocessed and unheated — no pasteurization, no filtering that strips away its natural enzymes, pollen, and character. Just honey, harvested and bottled.
Why raw matters
Most honey on the shelf is heat-treated to extend shelf life and make it flow smoothly—but heating destroys natural enzymes and can mask the use of cheap sugar syrup. Raw honey retains its natural composition, exactly as the bees made it.
Testing
Every batch is tested using H-NMR spectroscopy—the same advanced method used to catch sugar-syrup adulteration in honey globally—by an NABL-accredited laboratory. Our honey has tested clean: no cane or corn syrup (C4 sugar), no rice or beet syrup (C3 sugar), and the natural presence of proline, a marker that confirms genuine honey.
